We are stripping away the perception that quality one off design and construction is not affordable and takes forever. Our core mission is to give you a uniquely designed space that is built for you and your circumstances, delivered in better than half the time of a traditional building program and done so at a cost that is equivalent to the current standard building rates.

Our Story
Our mission at Connect Building people Place is simple – provide quality design and building outcomes for everyone. Having being involved in the construction industry for over 20 years we thought it was time to change the way buildings are delivered and move away from the mass produced “project” home outcome that does not address the basic elements of quality design and response to our environment, or the expensive and time consuming one off homes, extensions or commercial spaces.
We want people to have access to quality, modern buildings that are totally adaptable to their individual needs, budget and site without the huge costs and time frames associated with one off outcomes. How do we do this? Through our very unique construction system and pre-designed spaces that can be arranged on any site, in any configuration and can be added on to as budget or family permits, not unlike building with lego.

How We Can Help You
Design
With our expert in house design team, we can take you through the whole process from initial design meeting through to documentation ready for construction. With extensive experience and university qualifications in Architecture, we understand the process of design, from aesthetics, environmental, site planning, budget and buildability. Our uniquely designed spaces take each of these principles and craft an outcome suitable for your individual needs, budget and site. We can design as slab on ground, elevated floor to suit slope or even modular built in a factory. Our system gives you control in what you want – choose from three distinct aesthetic styles, choose your specification level and the spaces you want and we will design a unique, one off space just for you, without the hassle, cost and lengthy wait.
Design Process
Once you have made contact, we will organise a time to discuss your project and develop a design brief. From here, we will put together a concept design together with a budget price, with any amendments then captured from this concept design phase. We organise site surveys, soil tests, town planning and building approvals and engineering in a true project management role, with clear communication from us to you every step of the way, so all you have to think about is organising the movers!
Construction
As a true one stop shop, our expert construction team build your new space from the final approved drawings to a full turn key solution, meaning we hand you the keys with nothing else to do! We will provide a construction program for you, organise relevant engineering and council inspections, test and commission the new spaces and even provide you with an operation manual with all relevant information. We will guide you every step of the way, with a major part of our mission to be open and honest with you by having clear communication and expectations. All too often we hear of builders who are dishonest, or hit you up for variations, or just do a poor job – we are changing this perception by delivering quality buildings, with a fixed price contract in better than half the time of a normal build!
Speed
Can you imagine having your new space designed and built in better than half the time of a traditional building process? Well you don’t have to imagine any more – with our unique design and construction system, we can have you in your new space so much quicker. But quicker does not mean cutting corners – our central core focus is quality and using recognised, suitably approved brands and materials.
Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
We have adapted our unique design and building system to provide quality, therapeutic and fully compliant spaces for people with a disability. Our spaces are design to meet the Platinum Level Liveable Housing Guidelines and High Physical Support criteria. With a personal connection and involvement in the disability and support workers community, we bring our passion for quality design and construction to an industry that requires unique solutions with a fast design and construction delivery. After all, as part of our core philosophy, every person is entitled to be proud of the place they call home, or the place in which they work, regardless of their personal circumstances
